My lever belt won't do up properly and keeps popping open
This means you do not have the belt tight enough. The belt and buckle are designed to stay shut from internal pressure placed from behind it. The belt is designed to fit up very tight. You should place it just above your pelvis or up around your lower ribs. You should need to suck in your stomach in order to do the belt up. All of the belt should sit flush to your body. My buckle does not sit flush

How to breath when wearing a lever belt or other tight belt
When wearing a lever belt or other belt, when you have it very tight they provide more stability through your core. In order to maximise the benefits, before you lift, take a deep breath in, push your stomach out into the belt and brace your abs. From there perform your rep.
My lever belt is uncomfortable and causes brusing
This is absolutely normal. Your lever belt will take time for the leather to soften and your body to adjust. It may be sore and you may get bruising for the first few weeks.
